I agree with what you were trying to say, yes indeed we can prevent it by our own daily life style, what we eat, drink, and products that we use. But in the new era that we are living in there are a lot of positive way to cure acne. Thanks to technologies and specialist. Thanks for sharing it and have a nice day.

Thank you for doing these little webcasts. It is great to hear right from the horse's mouth. I came across some interesting research (even though I know you cannot believe everything you read on the Internet, I'd be happy to hear your perspective on it). I'll provide the links but the research question centers around pantothenic acid and L-carnitine being used in some combination to reduce oil production but the doses of B5 are rather large. As part of the research, Dr. Leung states "If there is a deficiency of Acetyl CoA in the body, oxidation of fatty acids will slow down, and the skin becomes oily resulting in acne. Increasing the amount of Acetyl CoA available speeds up the metabolism of fatty acids which are then used for energy production. Taking the vitamin B5, pantothenic acid is the easiest way to increase acetyl Co A and increase rate of fatty acid metabolism." The idea was considered by another Doctor (Jeffrey Dach) who found some merit in Dr. Leung's work but said the large doses are hard to handle but could be better tolerated and more efficient if L-Carnitine was added to the regimen. Because I have a stubbon case of cystic acne, my only other alternative is Accutane, which I really don't want to do because I prefer something more natural. I am praying that you can at least look at the research to see if there is any merit and to provide some information about what safe dosages of vitamin B5 really are. Here are some of the links just in case you are not already aware of them. I trust your expertise and the quality of your products and would appreciate your insight.
